EBAY will overpay for Skype
the 3 billion dollar price tag rumored to be floating is absolutely TOO MUCH money for a '''FREE''' service!!! When folks realize that MOST of those 52 million ''Registered Users '' are FREE, well, FREE dont pay the bills!
YES< EBAY will add more members cause EBAY is EBAY but paying REVENUES is what drives the EBAY MODEL and sales and Paypal SKIMMING 3% off the top for every dollar is how EBAY grows Revenues!!!!!!!
When I place a SKYPE call, I pay ZERO per minute!!!!!!! HELLO?????????? Does anyone GET THAT FACT that the consumer pays ZERO????????????? DUH??????????????

Skype and EBAY will take money OUT of the Paying Model
when will folks realize and wake up to the realities of this SKYPE model takes money OUT of the paying model and takes money FROM the use to pay folks and puts it into the FREE model of peer to peer...........
The Paying Model (fixed line and cellular) has spent HUNDREDS of Billions to put in the infrastructure..........the Skype model buys a little bandwidth and they can call from India to anywhere...........
EBAY might ramp alot of Skype users but will make diddly in REVENUES for EBAY with this aquisition..........this is NOT like PAYPAL where you siphon off 2.9% of every dollar for nothing but a software(Paypal) program---------Great Model!!!
But, Skype offers very little of REVENUE growth other than the EBAY USER will have another tool to help sales of products!
